Laurie and Steve began their recovery journey in 2004.
Since 2006 they have been involved in helping others find hope and healing through Freedom Groups (for male sex addicts) and Partners Groups, specifically for the partners of sex addicts.
These groups have evolved into a network of faith based groups that serve the Kansas City area known as Freedom KC, a non-profit founded by Steve and Laurie.
In 2021 Laurie and Steve began the process of becoming certified life coaches, followed by additional training and certifications for those who specialize in sex addiction and partner betrayal trauma recovery.
Steve is also certified in the area of Intimacy Anorexia, which often accompanies sex addiction.
New Day Freedom Coaching Services is the result of their training and passion.
They seek to provide effective, accessible and cost efficient coaching for all who desire to take their recovery to the next level.
